SA (Sensor/Actuator) power provides field power for 5069 Compact I/O modules and field-side devices that are connected to them. Field-side power is provided through the SA Power connection and can be either DC or AC depending on the IO modules that are connected immediately afterwards. SA Power is passed from controller to I/O modules unless a 5069-FPD is used.
An EtherChannel (or port group) is a group of two or more Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet switch ports bundled into a single logical link, creating a higher bandwidth link between two switches. Each EtherChannel can consist of up to eight compatible, configured Ethernet ports. The switch supports up to six EtherChannels.
